An Open-Label Phase II Study of Weekly Intravenous Hycamtin and Carboplatin as First-Line Treatment of Chemonaive Subjects with Extensive Small Cell Lung Cancer

Trial Description:
This study is being conducted to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of treating patients with small cell lung cancer with a combination of weekly hycamtin and carboplatin.

Patients:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Diagnosed with extensive small cell lung cancer
  • No brain metastases
  • No previous chemotherapy for small cell lung cancer
  • Lab tests, a current physical exam and medical history must meet study specific criteria
