Quality Measures

To ensure we are doing well and giving our patients the best care and service possible, Mercy General Hospital participates with a number of organizations that measure quality.

Quality measures, also called quality indicators, can be used to report how well an organization provides care for patients undergoing certain procedures or for patients with specific medical conditions. Quality measures provide data that analyzes healthcare services (such as types and availability of services), outcomes (such as infection rates, mortality and length of stay) or processes (such as giving antibiotics prior to and after certain surgical procedures).
